Company Description Harvest Coffee Roastery is a small-batch coffee roastery and café located in historic Medford, New Jersey, dedicated to serving fresh, high-quality coffee. The team focuses on both exceptional beverages and educating guests about the craft of coffee. With a rotating selection of 10–15 seasonal varietals, guests can explore different flavor profiles and brewing methods. The careful light-to-medium roasting style, led by master roaster Joe Johnston, highlights flavor and minimizes bitterness. Harvest Coffee is a family-founded business that brings fresh roasts and coffee education to southern New Jersey and beyond.

Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Barista role based at Harvest Coffee Roastery in Medford, NJ. The Barista will prepare and serve coffee and espresso-based beverages to order, following established recipes and brewing standards. Day-to-day responsibilities include operating coffee equipment, grinding and brewing beans, steaming milk, and ensuring accurate drink preparation. The role also involves engaging with guests, answering questions about coffee and brewing methods, handling cash and POS transactions, and maintaining a clean, safe, and organized café environment. The Barista will support opening and closing duties, restock supplies, and collaborate with team members to deliver consistent, high-quality service.

• Candidates should possess strong customer-facing skills, including Customer Service, Communication, and Interpersonal Skills.
• Candidates should possess barista-related skills, including Barista experience and basic Food Preparation skills.
• Candidates should possess reliability and professionalism, including punctuality, attention to detail, and the ability to follow recipes and safety guidelines.
• Candidates should possess the ability to stand for extended periods, lift light to moderate weights, and work in a fast-paced environment.
• Prior experience as a barista or in a café, restaurant, or hospitality setting is preferred but not required; passion for coffee and willingness to learn are highly valued.
