What you will be doing?
As a Barista You Would Be Responsible For Executing Your Position’s Responsibilities And Driving Company Success Through Performing The Following Tasks To The Highest Standards:
- Provides quality beverages, whole beans, and food products consistently for all customers by adhering to all recipe and presentation standards. Follows health, safety, and sanitation guidelines for all products.
- Performs cashier functions ringing up purchased items. Ensures accuracy in balancing cash, credit card, and room charge transactions. Maintains cash drawer and cash stabilizing at end of shift according to established departmental procedures.
- Maintains condiment bar, coffee cadence, and stock levels in production areas. Including stock levels and cleanliness for cups, sleeves, ice, espresso beans, and brewed coffee.
- Maintains café’s cleanliness by maintaining a clean and organized workspace so that staff can locate resources and products as needed and emptying any necessary garbage.
- Ensures all food items are stored accurately according to health standards. Delivers room service orders in a timely manner.
Qualifications
To fulfill this role efficiently, you must possess the following minimum qualifications and experience:
- 6+ months previous customer service experience
- Must have previous cash handling/credit card transactions experience
- 24/7 Availability required
- Must be able to obtain a Health (Food Handlers) card upon offer for hire
It would be effective in this position for you to demonstrate the following capabilities and distinctions:
- Previous barista work experience
- Prior knowledge of a generic POS system
