Overview As a Barista/Server at Cambria Downtown Austin, you will provide exceptional guest service in both our coffee bar and dining areas. This hybrid role involves crafting quality coffee beverages, serving food and drinks, and maintaining a welcoming, efficient, and clean environment. We’re looking for someone energetic, personable, and passionate about creating memorable guest experiences. Key Responsibilities: Prepare and serve coffee, espresso drinks, teas, and other beverages to standard recipes Take guest orders, serve food and beverages, and ensure satisfaction throughout the experience Maintain cleanliness and organization of the coffee bar and dining area Handle cash, credit card transactions, and operate the POS system accurately Restock supplies and ingredients as needed throughout shift Communicate effectively with the kitchen and other team members Follow all safety and sanitation procedures, including food handling guidelines Provide recommendations and answer guest questions about the menu Qualifications Qualifications: Prior experience as a barista or food & beverage server preferred Friendly, professional demeanor with strong customer service skills Ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced environment Basic knowledge of coffee preparation and food service techniques Food Handler and TABC certifications (or ability to obtain upon hire) Reliable and punctual with a flexible schedule Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 30 lbs Compensation Range The compensation for this position is $15.00/Hr. – $15.00/Hr. based on qualifications and experience.
