Role Overview
We’re seeking a hybrid Event Manager & Barista who thrives in a creative environment and can confidently wear multiple hats.
You’ll be the first face guests see, the person behind the espresso bar by day, and the one closing event bookings and hosting private tours by afternoon. This role is for someone who is equal parts hospitable, driven, organized, and creative.
Key Responsibilities
Barista Duties (Daytime):
- Prepare and serve specialty coffee drinks with attention to detail
- Create a warm and welcoming customer experience
- Maintain cleanliness and ambiance aligned with our aesthetic
Event Management (Ongoing):
- Respond to event inquiries via social, email, and in-person
- Conduct venue tours and manage bookings
- Coordinate event setup and client expectations
- Collaborate with owner/vendors for private events
Marketing Support (Bonus if skilled):
- Post engaging content on IG/TikTok
- Assist with promotions and community outreach
- Represent TAG’s brand in public-facing content
Ideal Candidate
- Experience in coffee, hospitality, or events (or all three)
- Strong organizational and people skills
- Excited about working in a visually creative, evolving space
- Comfortable being client-facing and self-directed
- Passion for art, community, and delivering standout service
Compensation
- Starting at $18/hour + Tips
- Performance bonuses for event bookings
- Room for rapid growth into full-time leadership
- Flexible schedule with primary hours between 9AM – 6PM, plus some evenings
