Hilton Houston North is a recently renovated property located in the Houston City North Area, with 4 8 0 rooms and 36 meeting spaces (52,000 SQ Ft ) to amaze our guests . We are looking for Top Candidates like You to bring our property alive by delivering exceptional service .

Overview

The lead barista has proven ability to provide quality customer service and demonstrated knowledge of coffee products, equipment, and tea products. The lead barista has responsibility for serving all products with friendly, individualized attention towards each customer. Lead baristas are instrumental in building customer relationships and fostering a positive and friendly store environment. They also provide technical guidance to new team members and assist in the training program.

Duties (not Limited To)

  • Assist in Managing and supervise associates in the Starbucks Department.
  • Responsible for assisting the Department Manager with the overall direction, coordination, and evaluation of this department.
  • Carry out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with brand policies and standards.
  • Responsibilities may include ordering and receiving product ; completing paperwork; interviewing and training associates; planning, assigning, and directing work; assist in appraising performance; rewarding and disciplining associates; addressing complaints and resolving problems.
  • The lead barista fulfills any other duties the store manager and/or the assistant manager assigns and represents the hotel and Starbucks in a professional manner.

Qualifications

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • P revious experience required as supervisor/lead of at least 6 months . Customer service experience required .
  • Available to work flexible hours that may include early mornings, evenings, weekends, nights and/or holidays.
  • Excellent communication , time management and customer service skills.
