Overview

The Cambria Hotel Downtown Austin is looking for an energetic and personable Barista/Server to join our Food & Beverage team. This dual-position role is perfect for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment and enjoys creating memorable guest experiences — whether serving handcrafted coffee in the morning or offering attentive table service during the day.

Responsibilities

What you will have an opportunity to do:

Prepare and serve a variety of coffee beverages, teas, and other café items to guests with accuracy and speed.
Greet and engage guests in a friendly, professional manner, ensuring a warm and welcoming atmosphere.
Take food and beverage orders, input them accurately into the POS system, and deliver items promptly.
Maintain cleanliness and organization of the café, bar, and dining areas.
Assist with stocking supplies, rotating inventory, and ensuring all items meet quality and presentation standards.
Handle cash and credit transactions accurately and responsibly.
Collaborate with team members and other departments to ensure seamless service.
Follow all safety, sanitation, and health guidelines.

Qualifications

Previous experience as a barista, server, or in a guest service role preferred.
Strong communication and multitasking skills.
Passion for hospitality and delivering outstanding service.
Ability to work mornings, weekends, and holidays as needed.
Current Food Handler and TABC certifications (or ability to obtain upon hire).
