Responsibilities
- Displays a congenial appearance.
- Adhere to departmental policies and procedures
- Attend meetings (including): daily communication, service, weekly staff meeting, monthly department meetings
- Effectively communicate with peers, management, line and front of the house employees
- Practice effective listening: (seek to understand)
- Be responsible for the cleanliness of the immediate work area as well as the general property
- Do not sleep on duty
- Maintain behavior consistent with sexual harassment/hostile work environment policy dictated in the Employee Handbook
- Ensure that all guests are greeted in a timely, friendly, and professional manner. Ensure all service standards are complied with as described in the server training manual.
- Food, wine and liquor knowledge is preferred
- Brews coffee and tea and fills containers with requested beverages
- Wraps menu items, such as sandwiches, hot entrees, and desserts as well as assists the pastry department with wrapping retail items for sale in sea beans.
- Clear, clean, reset and maintains Sea beans work area during shift.
- Assist other Attendant to give the best possible service as specified in Sea beans Standards of Service Manual.
- Understands the processes of Sea beans product and equipment.
- Handle all guest checks according to Hotel policy.
- Proper cash handling and room post procedures are followed.
- Always works with and supports other servers.
- Maintains pars and equipment as needed to successfully accomplish all Sea beans tasks.
- Completion of side work as assigned by Manager or Supervisor.
- Assist guests in a friendly, professional manner.
- Follow directions from Manager at all times.
- If there is a customer complaint the supervisor needs to be notified immediately.
- Maintain proper uniform and nametag at all times.
- Other job related duties as assigned.
Qualifications
- Well-spoken and well-dressed with the ability to work well with others
- Has minimum 1 year of food and beverage experience.
- Have an excellent memory to remember drink and food orders.
- Need to be comfortable using a POS to place orders and generate customers’ bills; math skills
- Able to stand for long periods of time.
Experience, Education & Licensure
- Food Handlers Certification
Compensation
Base Pay Start Rate: $18.63/Hr.
