Job Summary
Barista prepares and serve hot and cold beverages, including various types of coffee and tea, and provide an excellent cafe experience for customers . Receives and process payments (cash and credit cards).
DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITES
- Welcoming customers, informing them about specials or new items, answering questions, and accepting orders and payments.
- Preparing foods, such as sandwiches or baked goods, and grinding and blending coffee beans, brewing coffee and tea, and serving items to customers.
- Packaging food and beverages for sale.
- Cleaning and restocking work area, emptying trash and sanitizing equipment and utensils.
- Updating signage and displays to attract customers.
- Tracking and ordering inventory for café and beverage supplies, such as coffee beans, milk, napkins, and cups.
- Replenishing items in display cases, and behind the counter.
- Maintaining espresso machines, grinders, coffee machines and other equipment.
- Keeping work environment and café area clean, sanitary, and organized
- Working as part of a fun, high-energy team.
- Adhering to all food safety regulations and quality controls.
Qualifications /Experience
- High school diploma ( Hospitality, Tourism, Food and Beverage) or equivalent.
- Customer service and restaurant experience
- Previous work as a Barista is a plus.
- Point of sale equipment.
CERTIFICATIONS/LICENSES
- Food Handlers certificate

- Availability to work around peak hours, early mornings nights, weekends, and holidays.
