Overview

Prepare, provide and serve attractive and quality food with a friendly, safe and courteous manner to all customers in accordance with all department policies & procedures. Performs alltransactions utilizing appropriate procedures of payment handling. Performs duties of cleaning and sanitizing dishes, pans, and equipment throughout the department. Stocks display cases and coolers. Provide excellent customer service.

Responsibilities

Greet and assist customers, while anticipating their needs
Prepare and serve coffees, teas, and specialty beverages per brand standards
Maintain coffee knowledge on current offerings and accurately communicate product information to customers. Respond to questions, orders, and concerns, and educate customers on coffee products.
Prepare and serve food items in line with location standards
Set up and breakdown coffee bar, stations or store including cleaning and sanitizing
Maintain clean and sanitary work area
Stock beverage coolers, grab and go items, service ware and condiments
Demonstrate proficient knowledge of all Bistro equipment and assist with troubleshooting in event of equipment malfunctions.
Follow health, safety, and sanitization guidelines for all procedures
Other duties as assigned by management
Responsible for following cash handling and payment policies
Responsible for opening and closing register operations
Correctly operates department equipment that has been assigned.
Cleans and restocks dishes, food, supplies, and beverages during hours of operation as assigned.
Practices HACCP guidelines for food handling in a sanitary and safe condition. Reports any equipment malfunction to a supervisor. Monitors and records temperatures, utilizes safe food handling techniques, maintains a clean orderly work station.
Performs transactions including taking of cash, credit and payroll deduct payments. Ensures cash is balanced each shift and reviewed by a Team Lead or Supervisor.

Qualifications

One year experience in food service industry or related experience.
ServSafe Food Handler (Training Provided)
