Barista – hiring for both full and part-time Positions

We are an artisan, small batch coffee roaster located just outside of Boston, MA. We sell our roasted to order coffee both online to consumers worldwide and to cafes, restaurants and major grocery retailers in the US and Canada. We are a small company looking to grow our business across all channels—wholesale, retail cafés and online. We currently have three cafes successfully operating and we are opening a new café in Wilmington, Massachusetts at a public client business site with 600 employees. This new café will not be serving clients off the street, but rather will be providing white glove service for a prominent employer, to their employees for free! No cash transactions, so your focus will be on delighting the employees with superior coffee creations!

The Barista role will be Monday to Friday, business hours – 7:30 AM to 4:00 PM, Monday to Thursday, and 7:30 AM to 2:30 PM on Friday. We are hiring for both full and part time positions. The ideal candidate will have one year of barista experience and enjoy creating a delightful coffee experience for the consumer. You will need to possess the ability to serve coffee and espresso beverages in a consistent manner and according to recipes. Must have the ability to provide quality customer service and demonstrate a knowledge of coffee products, brew methods, equipment, and tea products. Responsible for serving all products with friendly, individualized attention toward each customer.

PAY RATE

$24.00 to $26.00 per hour depending on experience.

  • Respond to questions/orders/concerns in a professional manner.
  • Anticipate customer needs by constantly evaluating the environment and customers for clues.
  • Facilitate easy dialogue regarding product offerings with customers.
  • Actively participate in training sessions to advance your coffee education.
  • Craft beverages that adhere to the company’s quality standards.
  • Communicate effectively with customers and co-workers
  • Respond proactively to prevent negative customer service situations.
