We’re hiring a Chief Barista to lead our beverage program creation, training systems, and quality standards. This is a senior craft and leadership role that will define the foundation for Kohiya’s nationwide expansion.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and refine beverage recipes (espresso, matcha, minimalist drinks)
- Build SOPs, training materials, and bar standards
- Train baristas and managers; maintain beverage quality
- Support store openings and operational scale
- Partner with leadership on workflow optimization
Ideal Candidate:
- 2–3+ years in specialty coffee or modern craft cafés
- Strong technical skills (espresso, extraction, milk, matcha)
- Experience training baristas and creating SOPs
- Calm, detail-oriented, and quality-obsessed
- Passion for Japanese coffee culture or minimalist craft
- Excited to help build a brand from the ground up
