Description
Our guests are our most important asset. Involvement, teamwork, and commitment are the values that govern our work. This position provides service of food and beverage in the restaurant. This role requires you to adhere to the hotel and brand standards. You will also be required to be friendly, courteous, helpful, timely, and professional, always offering our guest a high level of satisfaction.
Requirements
The ideal candidate for this role will possess:
- At least 6 Months to a Year of Barista Experience
- Open weekend availability – Early mornings, Weekends and Holidays.
- Ability to multi-task, Offering great customer service and knowledge of a POS.
Other Responsibilities
- Attends company orientation and other meetings as required.
- Adheres to all policies and procedures.
- Must adhere to all Federal, State and Corporate liquor regulations pertaining to serving alcoholic beverages. Ramp certification preferred.
- Is expected to perform any related duty as requested by supervisor.
- Teamwork.
- Follows safety, security and emergency procedures and rules.
- Observes proper sanitation and cleanliness procedures.
- Utilizes protective equipment.
- Reports accidents, injuries, hazards, near misses, defective equipment, property damage or loss to supervisor.
Physical Demands/Abilities
- Knowledge of food and beverage preparation and service.
- Communicate effectively with guests and coworkers, i.e., memorize the menu, specials of the day and special promotions, provide information, answer questions, etc.
- Stand and/or walk for varying lengths of time, often long periods.
- Must be able to lift and carry items, weighing up to thirty (30) pounds.
- Requires manual dexterity.
- Reach and bend for varying lengths of time, often long periods.
- Work in an environment that is noisy, demanding and physical with fluctuating adverse temperatures.
- Frequent reaching, twisting, bending, stooping, walking, standing, handling, and smiling.
