Position Overview

We’re looking for an experienced and motivated General Manager to lead our day-to-day operations. The right candidate will bring leadership, organization, and a love for people—ensuring smooth service, a happy team, and consistent quality in every cup.

Responsibilities

• Lead daily café operations, including opening and closing procedures
• Hire, train, schedule, and mentor baristas and support staff
• Foster a positive, team-oriented, and service-driven culture
• Oversee ordering, inventory, and vendor relationships
• Manage cash handling, register balancing, and deposits
• Ensure compliance with food safety, cleanliness, and health standards
• Monitor sales, labor, and costs to meet business goals
• Handle guest feedback with professionalism and care
• Maintain and troubleshoot café equipment as needed
• Resolve conflicts and respond with a sense of urgency during busy hours
• Represent Moka & Co.’s values and ensure a consistently excellent guest experience

Qualifications

• Minimum 2+ years of café, restaurant, or hospitality management experience
• Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills
• Knowledge of specialty coffee and café operations
• Excellent time management and organizational skills
• Accurate cash handling and basic math proficiency
• Ability to train, lead, and motivate team members
• Availability for flexible hours (evenings, weekends, and holidays)
• Reliable, consistent attendance and professionalism

Physical & Environmental Requirements

• Frequent standing, walking, bending, and reaching during shifts
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs as needed
• Comfortable working in a fast-paced, high-energy environment
• Ability to remain standing for extended periods
