A porter contributes to Starbucks success by maintaining Reserve Kitchen facilities daily. The kitchen porter helps to keep the kitchen running smoothly by making sure everything is clean, tidy, safe and hygienic. This role ensures cooking equipment such as pots and pans are cleaned quickly and ready for chefs and cooks to use.

As An Assembler You Will
- Manage delivery of food, returns and equipment into the kitchen.
- Ensure the organization of dry storage, storerooms and walk-ins within the kitchen.
- Organize all store orders.
- Assist in documentation for all products going in and out of the kitchen.
- Work with departments to ensure accuracy of all in-store deliveries.
- Support the maintenance, repair and upkeep and cleaning of the kitchen and other areas as appropriate.
- Perform miscellaneous job-related duties as assigned by leaders.
- Experienced in warehouse receiving and organization – 2 years
- Commercial warehouse experience – 2 years
- Off Site catering warehouse experience (ideal)
- Current local health and safety certifications
- Excellent communication skills and fluent English required. Additional languages are beneficial.
- Ability to build strong relationships and engage across differing cultures and societies
