Assistant Cafe Manager

Common Man Roadside is HIRING an Assistant Café Manager for our Hooksett Welcome Centers, located on I-93!

Pay rate: $23-$25/hr, depending on experience.

Open availability and flexibility with scheduling desired.

The Assistant Café Manager contributes to the success of the café by assisting in day-to-day operations. You will use your knowledge and strengths to help the barista team grow, to help create and maintain a better guest-first culture every shift. Duties include:

• Overseeing shift operations and daily tasks


• Ordering and inventory management


• Daily paperwork, reporting, and logs


• Food and drink preparation, safety, and sanitation


• Employee management, including scheduling, training, and development

This is a working management role- our managers work on the floor and prepare customer orders, offer hands-on training, guidance, and development of staff, and assist customers.

Qualifications:

• Minimum 3 years café experience


• 1 year management experience preferred

• Must be able to obtain/maintain relevant certifications, including ServSafe


• Must be able to work nights, weekends, and holidays


• Must be able to stand for long periods of time, kneel, squat, bend and reach


• Must be able to lift/ carry packages up to 50 pounds
