Assistant Manager

Duties

• Packaging: Coffee, tea, chocolate covered espresso beans, etc. **
• Printing labels: Standard & custom
• Taking customer orders: Wholesale & retail (in person, online, & over the phone)
• Checkout: Wholesale & retail
• Administrative tasks: Invoicing, inventory, etc.
• Light cleaning: Dishes, sweeping, etc.
• Other tasks assigned: Such as opening & closing the shop as needed

** The majority of the time (approximately 75%) is spent packaging orders.

** Must be able to lift 35 pounds regularly and work on concrete floors.

Expectations

We are seeking a positive, outgoing person for this role. Experience in the coffee industry is required, as this passion greatly transfers to the customer. This person will need to be capable of working independently and as part of a team. They take responsibility for their work, including the people they interact with (both co-workers and customers). Our work environment is comfortable yet fast paced–at times “start and stop.” Additionally, this person must be able to multitask and handle multiple orders simultaneously. Fast math skills are a must. We strive for both productivity and accuracy–if we had to choose between the two, accuracy would win. Therefore, attention to detail and organization are imperative. Creativity is encouraged but consistency is of the utmost importance. We set the bar high.
