Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site role for a Bar Manager located in Virginia Beach, VA. The Bar Manager will oversee the daily operations of the bar, including supervising staff, managing inventory, and ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations. Responsibilities include providing excellent customer service, training and mentoring team members, developing sales strategies, and maintaining high standards for food and beverage quality. The Bar Manager will also be responsible for fostering a welcoming and organized atmosphere for guests and staff.

Qualifications

• Strong Customer Service and Communication skills to ensure an exceptional guest experience and clear team interaction
• Knowledge and expertise in Food & Beverage management and operations
• Experience in Training and mentoring staff to foster a positive and efficient working environment
• Proficiency in Sales and the ability to implement strategies to meet revenue goals
• Strong organizational and leadership skills, with attention to detail
• Familiarity with health and safety regulations in a food and beverage setting
• Ability to work evening and weekend shifts as required
• Previous experience in bar or restaurant management is highly desirable
