Description:

• Byron Center Trinity Health Medical Center Byron Center Cafe. Provides food and beverage services in a small urgent care or clinic café setting while maintaining a clean, welcoming environment for patients, staff, and visitors. Delivers excellent customer service and supports daily café operations, ensuring compliance with health and safety standards.
  
  

Key Responsibilities

Food & Beverage Service

• Prepare and serve coffee, espresso drinks, tea, and other beverages
• Prepare light food items (snacks, sandwiches, packaged meals)
• Maintain quality and consistency of beverages and food
  
  

Cleanliness & Sanitation

• Keep café and service areas clean, organized, and fully stocked
• Follow proper food safety and sanitation guidelines
• Clean equipment, counters, and seating areas regularly
  
  

Customer Service

• Greet patients, staff, and visitors in a friendly, professional manner
• Take orders accurately and efficiently
• Handle customer requests and resolve minor concerns
  
  

Operations Support

• Operate POS system and handle cash/credit transactions
• Restock supplies, beverages, and food items
• Monitor inventory and notify supervisors of shortages
  
  

Qualifications

Education

• High school diploma or equivalent (preferred)
  
  

Experience

• Previous barista, café, or food service experience preferred
• Customer service experience required
