Golden Hour Coffee + Wine · Brookfield, WI · On-site · Part-time or Full-time

We're a new coffee + wine bar in Brookfield that's off to a very exciting, busy start — and we're looking for people who take the craft seriously. If you've dialed in espresso at a real shop, poured wine you could talk about, or built a bar program you were proud of, we built this role for you.

Why career baristas and bartenders like it here

The program is legit. Anodyne Coffee Roasters espresso, ceremonial-grade matcha, a wellness drink program you won't find anywhere else in the market, and a curated wine list with by-the-glass pours worth defending. You'll work both sides of the bar — coffee craft and wine service go hand in hand — which almost no role in this market offers.

The hours are human. We close by 8pm and we're closed Mondays. Espresso skills without the 5am solo open; bar skills without the 2am close. Career hospitality without the hospitality schedule.

The volume is consistent and growing. This isn't a sleepy café. First-month numbers most new shops wait years for, a built-in clientele from the salon we share a building with (White Brick Salon), and an evening program we're actively building — events, tastings, and pairings you'd help shape.

It's family-owned, and we're in it. You'll work alongside the owners, not report to a distant manager. Good ideas get implemented the same week.

What you'll do

Pull consistent shots and steam properly at volume. Execute our signature drink menu with precision and speed. Pour and talk about wine with confidence. Own your bar: clean, stocked, dialed. Deliver the guest experience we're becoming known for — warm, unhurried, personal. Help us build the evening: happy hour, events, and whatever you bring to the table.

What you bring

Real experience behind an espresso machine, a bar, or both. Pride in consistency — the 200th drink as good as the 1st. Genuine warmth with guests; we can't teach that and won't hire without it. Wine knowledge is a strong plus (or a real desire to build it — we'll invest in your education). Reliability. Weekend availability.

Compensation + perks

Competitive hourly + tips. 50% staff discount at Golden Hour. Closed Mondays, no late nights. Growth path as we expand the evening program and events.
