BARACHOU is a high end pastry shop and coffee shop with two locations in Manhattan: Upper West Side and Upper East Side.

Role Description

This is a part-time on-site role for a Barista-Kitchen Helper at BARACHOU. As a Barista-Kitchen Helper, the candidates will handle the day-to-day tasks associated with preparing coffee and food for customers, providing excellent customer service, and maintaining cleanliness in the cafe.

Qualifications

• Excellent interpersonal skills, with a friendly and approachable demeanor
• Barista skills, including experience with espresso machines, light food preparation
• Strong communication skills, able to communicate effectively with both customers and colleagues
• Customer service skills, including experience providing courteous and efficient service with a smile
• Food preparation skills, including experience handling food safety guidelines and basic culinary techniques
• Familiarity with POS systems and cash handling
• Prior experience in a coffee shop or cafe setting is preferred
• Basic knowledge of French is a plus
• Availability to work weekends and holidays is required
