Barista

We are searching for an engaging, courteous barista who is knowledgeable about coffee preparation and presentation. The barista will greet employees, answer their questions, take orders, and prepare and serve beverages. You will also maintain a clean and well-stocked workspace.

To succeed as a barista, you should be committed to providing our employees with excellent service. You should be positive, friendly, knowledgeable, and polite.

Barista Responsibilities:

• Welcoming employees, informing them about new items, answering questions, and accepting orders.
• Grinding and blending coffee beans, brewing coffee and tea, and serving items to customers.
• Cleaning and restocking work and dining areas, emptying trash and sanitizing equipment and utensils.
• Updating signage and/or displays at the direction of the Firm’s Conference Services Coordinator when needed.
• Taking inventory and replenishing items behind the counter.
• Adhering to all food safety regulations and quality controls.

Barista Requirements:

• Experience in food and beverage preparation or customer service.
• Exceptional listening and communication skills.
• Ability to walk, bend, and stand for extended periods.
• Availability to work around peak hours, including early mornings.
• A polite, engaging personality.
• Commitment to customer satisfaction and service excellence.

This is a part-time position. The ideal candidate will have the flexibility to work three 7.5 hour shifts per week. Coffee bar hours are from 9am – 5pm, Tuesday through Thursday each week. The starting hourly rate for this position is between $25/hour - $28/hr.
