Barista

Duties

Prepare and serve a variety of coffee beverages, teas, and specialty drinks with precision and flair
Operate Clover POS to process transactions accurately and efficiently
Engage with customers warmly, taking orders, answering questions, and providing personalized recommendations
Maintain cleanliness and organization of the café area, including food handling and food safety practices
Manage cash handling responsibilities with accuracy, including cashiering and basic math calculations
Assist in food preparation and food service tasks to support overall café operations
Monitor inventory levels, restock supplies, and ensure adherence to food safety standards
Qualifications

Previous barista experience or coffee industry background preferred; strong customer service skills essential
Familiarity with POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS is highly desirable
Excellent time management skills to handle busy periods efficiently
Ability to perform serving duties confidently while maintaining a positive attitude
Knowledge of food safety regulations and proper food handling procedures
Basic math skills for cash handling, retail math, and sales transactions
Strong communication skills to connect effectively with customers and team members
