Job Summary
Join our café team as a Barista and become part of a welcoming, energetic environment where great service and quality beverages come together. We’re looking for a friendly, dependable, and customer-focused person who enjoys connecting with guests and takes pride in creating a positive experience.
In this role, you’ll prepare coffee, tea, smoothies, and specialty beverages while helping maintain a warm and inviting café atmosphere. You’ll work alongside a supportive team and have the opportunity to grow your skills in beverage preparation, food handling, customer service, and café operations.

Duties 
  • Prepare and serve a variety of non-alcoholic beverages, including coffee, tea, smoothies, and specialty drinks, with care and consistency.
  • Greet guests warmly, take orders, answer questions, and provide attentive and friendly service.
  • Operate Toast and other POS systems accurately and efficiently.
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and well-stocked café and beverage station.
  • Follow proper food safety, sanitation, and food-handling procedures.
  • Process cash and credit card transactions accurately and securely.
  • Assist with basic food handling and other café responsibilities as needed. 
  • Restock ingredients, supplies, and beverage stations throughout the shift.
  • Keep equipment and work areas clean and ready for service.
  • Work efficiently during busy periods while maintaining quality and a positive attitude.
  • Communicate and work closely with the team to ensure smooth daily operations.

Qualifications
  • Previous barista or café experience required.
  • Experience preparing coffee required, specialty beverages, and/or smoothies preferred.
  • Enthusiast for coffee culture
  • Latte art is a plus!
  • Experience with Toast or other POS systems preferred.
  • Friendly, approachable, and comfortable interacting with guests.
  • Strong communication and customer service skills.
  • Basic math and cash-handling skills.
  • Knowledge of food safety and proper food-handling practices.
  • Able to multitask and stay organized in a fast-paced environment.
  • Dependable, punctual, professional, and team oriented.
  • A positive attitude and willingness to learn are essential.
  • Food service handlers certified or able to get it within 2 weeks of hire.
