Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site Barista position located in Newark, NJ. The Barista will be responsible for preparing high-quality coffee and specialty drinks, maintaining a clean and organized workspace, and providing excellent customer service. Daily tasks will include greeting and assisting customers, taking and processing orders, operating equipment such as espresso machines, and ensuring that food and beverages meet company standards. Additionally, the Barista will handle cash transactions and contribute to a welcoming environment for guests and team members.

Qualifications

• 1 year previous barista experience required
• Barista skills, including knowledge of preparing coffee and specialty drinks
• Strong interpersonal and customer service abilities to provide a positive experience for all guests
• Effective communication skills to interact with team members and customers
• Experience with food preparation and adherence to food safety standards
• Dependable, punctual, and able to thrive in a fast-paced environment
• Ability to stand for extended periods and handle physical tasks such as lifting and carrying supplies up to 50 lbs
• Passion for coffee and a willingness to learn and grow within the industry
