Role Description The Barista role is a part-time or full-time, on-site position based in Stevens Point, WI. The Barista is responsible for preparing and serving coffee, espresso drinks, and other beverages, as well as handling basic food preparation and maintaining a clean, organized workstation. Daily tasks include greeting customers, taking orders, processing payments, cleaning and providing prompt, courteous service. The role also involves restocking supplies, adhering to food safety and hygiene standards, and supporting teammates during busy periods. Baristas are expected to follow established recipes, learn menu items, and contribute to a welcoming atmosphere for guests.

Qualifications

• Strong customer-facing skills, including Customer Service, Interpersonal Skills, and Communication.
• Hands-on Barista experience or familiarity with coffee and espresso preparation and beverage service.
• Basic Food Preparation skills and adherence to food safety and hygiene practices.
• Ability to work on-site full time, stand for extended periods, and manage tasks in a fast-paced environment.
• Reliability in scheduling, attention to detail, and willingness to learn menu items and preparation techniques.
• Prior experience in a café, restaurant, or retail environment is beneficial but not required.
