Barista

Job Overview

Flow Wine & Coffee is looking for an experienced, hospitality-driven barista to join our team. We are a specialty coffee and wine bar focused on quality, consistency, and creating a welcoming community space.

Duties

Dialing in espresso and maintaining recipe consistency
Preparing and serving a variety of specialty coffee based drinks, matcha, teas, and other specialty drinks with precision.
Providing warm, professional guest service.
Maintain cleanliness and organization of bar and café area, including food preparation stations, seating areas, and equipment.
Assist in food handling and basic food preparation tasks to ensure quality standards are met consistently.
Follow all food safety protocols and health regulations to ensure a safe environment for staff and guests.

Requirements

Minimum 1 year specialty coffee experience.
Strong understanding of espresso extraction and milk texturing.
Comfortable and composed while working in fast paced environment. Ability to stand for extended periods of time.
Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate clearly and positively.
Excellent time management skills to handle multiple orders efficiently during peak hours.
Knowledge of food safety standards, food handling procedures, and serving best practices.
