Barista & Food Prep Member

Overview

We are looking for a reliable and positve Barista & Food Prep Team Member to join our team. This role combines coffee service with kitchen prep, supporting morning, lunch, and afternoon shifts. You’ll prepare high-quality beverages and light food items while maintaining a clean, efficient workspace and providing great customer service.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and serve a variety of coffee drinks, teas, and specialty beverages with precision and flair, ensuring consistency and quality.
• Prepare food items including bagels, bread, cream cheese spreads, ice cream, French fries, egg rolls, and similar menu items.
• Assist with baking and assembling fresh products as needed.
• Follow recipes, portioning, and food safety guidelines
• Operate POS systems such as Aloha POS and Micros POS to process transactions accurately and efficiently.
• Provide friendly, attentive customer service by taking orders, answering questions, and addressing guest needs promptly.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the café area, including food prep stations, seating areas, and equipment.
• Manage cash handling responsibilities with accuracy using basic math skills for transactions and register balancing.
• Follow all food safety protocols and proper food handling procedures to ensure a safe environment for guests and staff.
• Willingness to work flexible hours including mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed
• Other duties as assigned.

Experience

• Previous barista or food prep experience preferred (not required)
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
• Strong attention to detail and cleanliness
• Good communication and customer service skills
• Willingness to learn

Compensation:

• Hourly wage $ + tips
• From $15+/hour
• PT or FT positions available
