Role Description This is a part-time, on-site Barista role located in the San Diego Metropolitan Area. The Barista will prepare and serve specialty coffee, matcha beverages, and desserts according to Infusion Lab’s recipes and quality standards. Daily responsibilities include taking guest orders, operating espresso and brewing equipment, handling point-of-sale transactions, and maintaining a clean, organized workstation and guest area. The role also involves engaging with guests in a friendly, professional manner, answering questions about the menu, and supporting team members during busy periods. Baristas are expected to follow food safety guidelines, uphold hygiene standards, and contribute to a positive, efficient work environment.

Qualifications

• Strong Customer Service and Interpersonal Skills to create a welcoming, personalized experience for guests.
• Barista skills, including beverage preparation and basic Food Preparation knowledge for coffee, matcha, and dessert items.
• Clear Communication skills for interacting with guests and collaborating with team members.
• Ability to stand for extended periods, lift and carry supplies as needed, and work in a fast-paced environment.
• Attention to detail in drink presentation, order accuracy, and cleanliness.
• Prior barista or café experience is preferred but not required; training will be provided.
• Availability to work weekends, holidays, and peak hours as needed within the San Diego Metropolitan Area.
