Founded in 2009 by Rob Webb, the company began as a way to support families, communities, and causes in need, rooted in his personal experience with adoption. Today, Just Love Coffee Roasters provides hand-roasted, ethically sourced coffee to customers, churches, offices, retailers, restaurants, and Just Love Coffee & Cafe locations nationwide. Every cup of coffee is part of a larger effort to support community initiatives, educational programs, and local charities. Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Barista role based at the Just Love Coffee & Cafe location in Utica, MI. The Barista prepares and serves high-quality coffee and espresso beverages, as well as other cafe drinks and food items according to company recipes and standards. Responsibilities include greeting guests, taking orders, processing payments, and providing friendly, efficient service to create a welcoming environment. The Barista maintains a clean and organized work area, follows health and safety guidelines, restocks supplies, and supports opening and closing duties. The role also involves sharing product knowledge, supporting Just Love Coffee Roasters’ mission, and contributing to a positive, collaborative team culture.

Qualifications

• Barista and Food Preparation skills, including experience making espresso-based drinks and handling basic kitchen tasks.
• Customer Service and Interpersonal Skills to create a friendly, inclusive, and community-focused guest experience.
• Strong Communication skills for interacting with guests, collaborating with team members, and following instructions accurately.
• Ability to stand for extended periods, lift and carry supplies, and work in a fast-paced cafe environment.
• Prior experience in a coffee shop, café, or food service setting is preferred but not required.
• Reliability, punctuality, and flexibility to work mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.
