Requirements

Eligible candidates must be able to lift up to 25 lbs, live in San Francisco Bay Area, have travel accommodations to work, and possess a minimum of a High School Diploma or equivalent (GED) to be eligible for employment.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and serve a variety of beverages, including coffee, tea, and specialty drinks, ensuring quality and presentation standards are met
• Operate POS systems for retail sales transactions, processing cash and card payments accurately
• Greet customers with great hospitality throughout their visit and take their orders efficiently
• Maintain cleanliness of workstations, dining areas, and equipment to uphold food safety and hygiene standards
• Handle food preparation tasks such as food handling and basic food safety practices in accordance with health regulations
• Manage time effectively during busy periods to ensure prompt service and customer satisfaction
• Assist with inventory management by restocking supplies and monitoring product freshness

Experience

• Prior barista experience or food service experience is preferred but not required; we welcome motivated individuals eager to learn and with a focus on quality & hospitality.
• Familiarity with beverage service techniques and coffee preparation methods is advantageous
• Strong customer service skills with the ability to engage positively with diverse guests
• Knowledge of food handling procedures and food safety regulations ensures safe service delivery
• Excellent time management abilities to prioritize tasks efficiently in a dynamic environment
