Marbré is a French-inspired bakery in Park Slope, Brooklyn, specializing in artisanal madeleines and pastries. We are a small, craft-driven team, and we care about the details - in the product and in how we welcome our guests.

The Role

We are looking for a part-time Barista & Front of House team member to join us in the boutique. You will be the face of Marbré for our guests: preparing drinks, running the register, and making sure every person who walks in feels welcomed.

What you’ll do:

•⁠ ⁠Prepare espresso drinks, coffee, and tea to our recipes and standards

•⁠ ⁠Greet guests, answer questions about the menu, take orders, and handle transactions

•⁠ ⁠Sell and serve our madeleines and pastries

•⁠ ⁠Keep the display case stocked and looking its best

•⁠ ⁠Restock supplies and coordinate with the bakery team

•⁠ ⁠Keep the bar and service area clean and follow food-safety standards

•⁠ ⁠This list is not exhaustive, and responsibilities may evolve based on the needs of the boutique

What we’re looking for:

•⁠ ⁠A valid New York City Food Protection Certificate

•⁠ ⁠Hands-on barista experience, including espresso machines and drink preparation

•⁠ ⁠Warm, clear, customer-facing skills

•⁠ ⁠Café, bakery, or hospitality experience preferred

•⁠ ⁠Reliable, organized, and positive with guests and teammates

•⁠ ⁠Able to stand for extended periods and lift up to 25 lbs

•⁠ ⁠Available for early mornings, weekends, and holidays as needed

Compensation

$17/hour + tips
