Barista

Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Barista role located in Miami Beach, FL. The Barista will prepare and serve high-quality coffee and espresso beverages, teas, and other menu items while following established recipes, presentation standards, and food safety guidelines. Responsibilities include greeting guests, taking orders, processing payments, and delivering friendly, efficient service in a fast-paced environment. The Barista will maintain a clean and organized workstation, restock supplies, and care for equipment through routine cleaning and basic maintenance. The role also involves coordinating with kitchen and bar staff, supporting special events or high-volume periods, and contributing to a welcoming atmosphere that reflects Museum Tower Cafe Hospitality’s guest-focused culture.

Qualifications

• Barista skills, including espresso preparation, drink customization, and basic equipment care.
• Customer Service and Interpersonal Skills to create a welcoming, attentive, and guest-focused environment.
• Strong Communication skills for clear order taking, teamwork, and positive guest interactions.
• Food Preparation knowledge, including basic food handling, safety, and sanitation practices.
• Ability to stand for extended periods, work flexible shifts (including nights, weekends, and holidays), and thrive in a fast-paced setting.
• Previous experience in a café, coffee shop, or hospitality environment preferred but not required.
• Basic math skills and familiarity with POS systems for handling cash and card transactions accurately.
