Role Description The Barista role at Starbucks in Peabody, MA is a full-time, on-site position focused on delivering an exceptional customer experience. In this role, the Barista prepares and customizes beverages and food items according to Starbucks standards, ensuring quality, consistency, and adherence to safety and cleanliness guidelines. Daily responsibilities include welcoming and engaging customers, taking orders accurately, handling payments, and maintaining a clean and organized workspace. Baristas collaborate with team members to manage inventory, restock supplies, and support efficient store operations during peak and non-peak hours. This role also involves learning Starbucks recipes and processes, upholding brand standards, and contributing to a positive, inclusive store culture.
Qualifications

• Candidates should possess strong Customer Service and Interpersonal Skills to create a welcoming environment and engage respectfully with diverse customers and team members.
• Candidates should possess Barista and Food Preparation skills, or be willing to learn beverage crafting, food handling, and adherence to safety and hygiene standards.
• Candidates should possess solid Communication skills to take orders clearly, share information with the team, and handle customer inquiries or concerns in a professional manner.
• Reliable time management, the ability to stand for extended periods, and capability to work flexible shifts, including early mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays.
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment and follow operational procedures and quality standards.
• Previous experience in retail, food service, or hospitality is beneficial but not required; training will be provided.
