Role Description This is a part-time, on-site Barista role located in Overland Park, KS. The Barista will prepare and serve coffee and tea beverages, including specialty espresso drinks, following established recipes and quality standards. Day-to-day tasks include taking customer orders, operating the POS system, handling cash and card transactions, and maintaining a clean, organized service and seating area. The Barista will provide courteous customer service, answer questions about menu items, and offer recommendations. Additional responsibilities include stocking supplies, assisting with basic food preparation, and following health, safety, and hygiene guidelines.

Qualifications

• Strong Customer Service and Interpersonal Skills, with the ability to create a welcoming and respectful environment.
• Barista experience or demonstrated interest in coffee preparation, including espresso-based drinks and basic beverage techniques.
• Effective Communication skills for interacting with customers and collaborating with team members.
• Food Preparation skills and familiarity with basic food safety and hygiene practices.
• Reliability, punctuality, and the ability to work flexible shifts, including weekends and holidays as needed.
• Comfort standing for extended periods and handling a fast-paced, customer-facing environment.
• Prior experience in hospitality or retail is beneficial but not required; training will be provided.
