Barista/cat caretaker

I am currently hiring for a part-time barista/cat caretaker. You must be 18 or older to work at Katy’s. If you are interested, please message me with your availability for a 20 minute interview at the cafe.

Role Description

This is a part-time on-site role for a Barista at Katy's Cat Cafe located in Sarasota, FL. The Barista will be responsible for preparing and serving beverages, maintaining cleanliness and organization of the cafe, providing excellent customer service, and handling food service activities. At the end of the shift, barista is assigned tasks in cat care.

Interpersonal Skills and Communication skills

Customer Service skills

Ability to work in a fast-paced environment

Attention to cleanliness and organization
Knowledge of coffee brewing preferred

Previous experience in a similar role is a plus

High school diploma or equivalent

All employees will have a free membership to the cat lounge for the duration of their employment. 

Morning shift (8 am - 2 pm weekdays) (10 am - 4 pm weekends)

Evening shift (2 pm - 8 pm weekdays) (4 pm - 10 pm weekends)

*Each shift has one employee. You will be working the coffee bar alone during your shift. 

*Occasionally extra hours will be assigned for cat care and cleaning.

Compensation: $14/hr
