Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site role for a Barista, located in Philadelphia, PA. The Barista will be responsible for crafting and serving high-quality coffee and beverages, preparing simple food items, and maintaining a clean and organized workspace. The role also includes engaging with customers to provide exceptional service, managing cash register operations, and assisting in the daily setup and closing procedures of the cafe. Collaboration with team members to ensure smooth operations and a positive guest experience is a critical part of this position.

Qualifications

• Skills in preparing coffee, tea, and other beverages, along with basic knowledge of brewing methods and equipment
• Interpersonal and communication skills to provide excellent customer service and handle inquiries effectively
• Ability to follow health and safety regulations, maintain cleanliness, and manage inventory for daily operations
• Time management and multitasking abilities to perform efficiently during busy shifts
• Previous experience in hospitality or food service is a strong asset
• A positive attitude, team-oriented mindset, and commitment to creating a welcoming environment
• High school diploma or equivalent is preferred
