We are seeking an energetic and dedicated Cafe Manager to lead our vibrant coffee shop team to success! Duties
Lead daily cafe operations, including opening, closing, and shift management to ensure smooth workflow and high standards of service.
Supervise staff training and development, fostering a motivated team focused on delivering outstanding customer experiences.
Oversee food preparation, cooking, and food handling processes to ensure quality and safety compliance.
Manage inventory control, including ordering supplies, monitoring stock levels, and minimizing waste.
Handle Clover POS system for accurate cash handling and sales processing.
Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen and dining areas in accordance with health regulations.
Implement food safety protocols, ensuring all team members adhere to proper hygiene practices.
Support catering services, banquets, or special events as needed to expand our offerings.
Monitor financial performance by managing budgets, controlling costs, and optimizing operational efficiency.
Conduct staff interviews, supervise team members’ performance, and facilitate ongoing training & development initiatives.
Experience
Proven management experience in a quick service & fast food restaurant or casual dining environment with a focus on food industry standards.
Extensive background in food preparation, cooking techniques, and food safety practices.
Demonstrated supervisory experience in restaurant management or hospitality management roles.
Familiarity with POS systems such as Clover cash handling and sales tracking.
Experience in inventory control, budgeting, and food production processes.
Strong leadership skills with the ability to train staff effectively and foster a collaborative team environment.
Previous experience managing shifts in a high-volume setting like cafes or coffee shops is highly desirable.
Knowledge of culinary techniques related to coffee service, barista skills, catering operations, and kitchen management is preferred.
