Café Team Member

Mr. Bear is a Japanese cheesecake and dessert café specializing in Hokkaido-style cheesecakes, milk tea, fresh lemon tea, espresso drinks, smoothies, and Asian-inspired desserts. We are looking for friendly, dependable, and motivated Café Team Members to join our team.

As a Café Team Member, you will be cross-trained in both customer service and beverage preparation. Responsibilities include taking customer orders, operating the register, preparing coffee, milk tea, smoothies, and other beverages, packaging desserts, restocking ingredients and supplies, maintaining clean and organized workstations, and assisting team members during busy periods.

The ideal candidate is positive, responsible, willing to learn, and able to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment. Previous experience in a café, coffee shop, boba shop, bakery, or restaurant is preferred but not required. Training will be provided.

Responsibilities

* Greet customers and provide friendly service

* Take orders and process payments accurately

* Prepare espresso drinks, milk tea, lemon tea, smoothies, and other beverages

* Package cheesecakes and desserts for customers

* Follow recipes and portion standards

* Prepare and restock ingredients, toppings, cups, and supplies

* Maintain cleanliness of counters, equipment, and customer areas

* Follow food safety and sanitation procedures

* Assist with opening and closing duties

* Work cooperatively with other team members

Qualifications

* Reliable and punctual

* Friendly with good communication skills

* Willing to learn multiple café stations

* Able to work in a fast-paced environment

* Strong attention to cleanliness and detail

* Previous food service or beverage experience is a plus

* Weekend and evening availability is a plus
