Salary range £13.08 per hour, increasing to £13.45 per hour from 1 May 2026. Duration Permanent Working hours part-time role of 20 hours, working on a fully flexible basis. Location Johnstons of Elgin, Elgin Closing Date Wednesday, 15 April 2026

We are looking for a friendly and proactive Coffee Shop Assistant to join our front-of-house team. Our onsite eatery holds a 5-star VisitScotland rating and offers breakfast, coffee and tea, lunch, and afternoon tea. You will play a key role in delivering exceptional customer service and ensuring our high standards are consistently maintained.

This is a permanent, part-time role of 20 hours, working on a fully flexible basis. We are happy to offer flexibility with working hours for the right candidate.

Rate of pay: £13.08 per hour, increasing to £13.45 per hour from 1 May 2026.

Key Duties

Amongst other duties you will be

• welcoming customers and providing excellent customer service
• making and serving drinks
• operating the till
• taking orders and serving food
• demonstrating your knowledge to customers by advising and assisting with food orders
• Supporting the team with general cleaning and tidying duties
