Coffee Technician

Job description:

Join our dynamic team as a Coffee Technician and become the driving force behind the maintenance, repair, and installation of commercial coffee equipment. You will be the expert who keeps equipment running smoothly, troubleshoot issues efficiently, and deliver exceptional customer service with a proactive and positive attitude.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine maintenance, troubleshooting, and repairs on a variety of commercial espresso and coffee machines and related equipment.
• Interpret schematics, technical manuals, and electrical diagrams to diagnose issues accurately.
• Conduct appliance repairs including grinders, brewers, water systems, refrigeration units, and electrical components.
• Install new equipment at customer sites, ensuring proper assembly and calibration for optimal performance.
• Utilize your mechanical knowledge to resolve complex mechanical or electrical problems swiftly and effectively.
• Document all service activities thoroughly in service logs and update customer records promptly.
• Communicate clearly with customers to explain repairs, provide maintenance tips, and ensure satisfaction during each visit.

Requirements

• Proven experience in espresso or coffee machine troubleshooting within a field service environment.
• Knowledge of schematics, wiring diagrams, and technical manuals related to commercial equipment. Experience with high and low voltage and use of multimeter.
• Excellent customer service skills with the ability to communicate technical information clearly and professionally.
• Ability to work independently in the field while managing multiple service calls efficiently. This role offers an exciting opportunity to develop your technical expertise while delivering top-tier service in a vibrant industry.
• Availability to be on call on a weekend once every third week.
