The Bench Equipment Technician is responsible for achieving the customer satisfaction goals of the department by repairing customer equipment in a timely, professional and complete manner. Service Technician work under the general Supervision of the Service Shop Team Leader and training will be provided.

The Bench Equipment Technician is responsible for achieving the customer satisfaction goals of the department by repairing customer equipment in a timely, professional and complete manner. Service Technician work under the general Supervision of the Service Shop Team Leader and training will be provided.
Responsibilities
- Possess a basic understanding of all brands and configuration of equipment offered by New England Coffee Company including coffee, tea and related allied product preparation equipment
- Familiar with wiring schematics
- Possess basic diagnostic skills
- Troubleshoot customer equipment and technical problems with member of the sales force over the telephone
- Proactively detects and corrects potential problems before they occur
- Completes clear and accurate work orders documenting service provided, parts used, and the results
- Performs related duties as assigned by the Equipment Supervisor
- Follow all safety procedures and participate in safety training. Maintain safe and efficient use of equipment, tools, and person. Report any injury or accident immediately to supervisor and/or any unsafe condition
- Ensure the operation is providing food-safe, quality products which meet or exceed all product specifications and regulatory requirements
- Assist with warehouse duties as needed

Qualifications
- Excellent communication skills
- Ability to perform well under pressure
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- Valid driver's license
- Prefer 1 year experience as a technician but will consider mechanically inclined individuals
- Must be able to lift 50 lbs
