Our Spring Street location is open, and we’re looking for passionate, skilled Barista to run our street-facing coffee window, serving espresso, cold brew, and specialty drinks using a sLa Marzocco KB90, Mahlkönig Grind-by-Sync grinder, and Oslo Coffee beans from the West Village.

Your Role

As a Barista, you will be the face of our coffee program—crafting high-quality espresso beverages, delivering warm, efficient service, and creating a seamless experience for our SoHo customers. This role blends technical coffee skill with hospitality and speed.

Responsibilities

• Prepare high-quality espresso drinks, including lattes, cappuccinos, americanos, and cold brew
• Operate and maintain a La Marzocco KB90 and Mahlkönig Grind-by-Sync grinder
• Dial in espresso and maintain consistency throughout service
• Engage customers warmly, take orders efficiently, and handle transactions accurately
• Maintain cleanliness and daily upkeep of all coffee equipment and workstations
• Manage inventory and restocking of coffee-related supplies
• Upsell gelato, pastries, and seasonal offerings when appropriate
• Work collaboratively with the gelato and FOH teams during busy periods
  
  

Qualifications

• Previous barista experience required
• Strong espresso fundamentals and ability to work with high-end equipment
• Ability to perform efficiently in a high-volume environment
• Excellent customer service and communication skills
• Flexibility to work early mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays
• Passion for Italian culture, food, or language is a plus
