Company Overview:

Cafe77 operates within a federal building in Chicago, providing high-quality coffee service in a secure, professional environment.

Position Summary:

The Barista is responsible for preparing beverages to company standards while delivering professional, efficient, and customer-focused service.

The candidate must have or be willing to obtain IL Food Handler Cards or be willing to obtain it in 1 week of employment. Cafe77 does offer reimbursement payment for obtaining the certification.

Core Responsibilities:

Prepare espresso-based beverages and café items consistently and accurately.

Provide professional, courteous customer service at all times.

Operate efficiently during peak service periods.

Maintain cleanliness and organization of workstations.

Follow all product recipes and presentation standards.

Accurately process transactions using POS systems.

Support team members during high-volume operations.

Adhere to all federal building security and workplace protocols.

Qualifications:

Prior barista or café experience preferred; training available for qualified candidates.

Must successfully pass a federal background check.

Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

Professional, reliable, and customer-focused demeanor.

Ability to perform in a fast-paced, structured environment.
