The Job

As a Fountain Worker for Starbucks at Mandalay Bay, you’ll be the friendly face that starts a guest’s day off right, delivering the familiar comfort and quality Starbucks experience in the heart of the resort. With your welcoming smile and attentive service, you’ll connect with guests, anticipate their needs, and take ownership of their visit—creating uplifting WOW moments and memorable experiences that guests will carry with them long after their stay.

THE STARTING RATE: $14.78 Hourly + Tips

The Day-to-day

• Knowledgeable of selling techniques and service delivery for both alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages and items on the menu
• Take and place order, serve and garnish food and drinks efficiently and accurately in work area as applicable
• Collect money, while following all proper cash handling and comp procedures
• Maintain cleanliness, sanitation, and the appearance of the front and back of house area, clear tables and counters; sweep and maintain the cleanliness of the dining area without interfering with the comfort of guests
• Pack and complete order as per guests’ preference with necessary condiments
• Perform opening and closing duties based upon shift assignment
• Unload warehouse orders and stock the orders in designated storage maintaining organization, stock and replenish supplies and machines as needed Resolve guest complaints within scope of authority; otherwise, refer the matter to management, notify supervisor and/or Security of all unusual events, circumstances, missing items, or alleged theft
  
  

The Ideal Candidate

• High School Diploma or GED required
• Work varied shifts, to include weekends and holidays required
• 2+ Years of Prior Relevant experience as a food handler in a similar environment preferred
• Previous experience as a barista in Starbucks or a similar setting preferred
