Gelato Server / Cashier / Espresso Barista

FIGO Il Gelato Italiano is seeking a friendly, dependable, and energetic team member to join our shop as a Gelato Server.

Responsibilities:

* Serve gelato and desserts to customers while adhering to our quality and service standards.

* Operate the cash register accurately and handle payments.

* Prepare espresso-based drinks, including espresso, cappuccino, and latte.

* Maintain a clean and organized work area.

* Provide excellent customer service and create a welcoming atmosphere for guests.

* Comply with all food safety and hygiene regulations.

Requirements:

* Prior experience in the food and beverage industry, particularly in gelato shops, cafés, or similar roles, is preferred.

* Familiarity with cash registers and point-of-sale (POS) systems is essential.

* Basic knowledge of espresso machines is required; training will be provided if necessary.

* Strong communication and customer service skills are crucial.

* Ability to work in a fast-paced environment is highly valued.

* Availability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays is necessary.

* Legal authorization to work in the United States is required.
