Ally Coffee Repair provides installation, maintenance, and repair services for commercial coffee equipment, supporting cafés, restaurants, and wholesale partners. We work across espresso machines, grinders, brewers, and water filtration systems, helping our customers maintain consistent quality and uptime.
The Junior Technician supports the service team in diagnosing, maintaining, and repairing coffee equipment. This is an entry-level role designed for someone mechanically inclined who wants to develop technical skills in a hands-on environment.
You will work both in the shop and in the field alongside senior technicians, gradually taking on more independent service responsibilities.
- Assist with installation, maintenance, and repair of:
- Espresso machines
- Coffee grinders
- Batch brewers and specialty equipment
- Water filtration systems
- Support troubleshooting of mechanical and basic electrical issues
- Perform routine preventative maintenance and cleaning services
- Prepare and stage equipment for installation or delivery
- Maintain service logs, parts usage, and basic documentation
- Communicate professionally with customers during service visits
- Keep tools, workspace, and service vehicle organized
Required:
- Basic mechanical aptitude (tools, disassembly/reassembly, etc.)
- Strong attention to detail and reliability
- Ability to follow instructions and learn quickly
- Valid driver’s license and clean driving record
- Ability to lift ~50 lbs and work on-site at customer locations
Preferred (not required):
- Experience with coffee equipment, appliances, HVAC, or similar systems
- Basic understanding of electrical systems or plumbing
- Interest in coffee and café operations
- Espresso machine diagnostics and repair workflows
- Preventative maintenance systems for commercial equipment
- Water quality and filtration fundamentals
- Field service operations and customer interaction
- Inventory and parts management
- Hourly pay ($22-28 per hour, based on experience)
