Responsibilities

  • Train and mentor coffee shop team members.
  • Order supplies, create schedules, and complete other leadership admin duties.
  • Providing counter service to guests through taking verbal requests for food and accommodating the expediting of such requests. Including any special needs or requests through using the hotel’s point-of-sales system; check completed orders with the guest’s original order; provide items to the guest at the counter or table in a timely manner. 
  • Have the ability to describe the selection of food and beverage menu items to guests by offering interesting, and vivid descriptions of each item’s, origin, taste, and preparation methods.
  • Accommodate guest orders, anticipate guest needs, ascertain satisfaction, offer suggestions, and respond urgently and appropriately to guest concerns and requests. 
  • Assist with daily inventory and ordering and stock food and beverage and paper supplies.  

Preferred Qualifications And Skills

  • Requires reading, writing and oral proficiency in the English language.
  • Previous coffee, tea knowledge required.
  • Strong commitment to service
  • Successful candidate must possess legal work authorization in the United States
