As the New Here Coffee Ambassador, you’ll bring together coffee, hospitality and marketing to create an experience students want to be part of. Located within the temporary leasing office, New Here Coffee will serve as an inviting entry point to the new development’s brand and resident experience.
You'll help create and deliver the daily coffee experience while partnering with the New Development, Leasing, and Marketing teams to build relationships with students, generate excitement around the property, and naturally connect guests to leasing opportunities, events, and the broader Core experience.

You'll help create and deliver the daily coffee experience while partnering with the New Development, Leasing, and Marketing teams to build relationships with students, generate excitement around the property, and naturally connect guests to leasing opportunities, events, and the broader Core experience.
What You Will Do
Coffee & Hospitality
- Lead the day-to-day New Here Coffee experience, creating a welcoming, energetic, and visually engaging environment for students and guests.
- Craft espresso drinks, teas, and house specials with consistency and care while maintaining New Here Coffee quality, cleanliness, inventory, and operating standards.
- Work in close partnership with the National Beverage Director to develop expertise in beverage preparation, service standards, and the overall New Here Coffee experience.
- Build genuine relationships with students and learn your property's brand, floor plans, amenities, and differentiators to naturally introduce the community through conversation.
- Partner closely with Leasing and Marketing Associates to identify prospective residents, generate leads, make warm handoffs, and create a seamless experience between New Here Coffee and the leasing team.
- Represent New Here Coffee, your property, and Core Spaces with professionalism, enthusiasm, and authenticity while staying connected to campus culture and student trends.
- Help create the overall atmosphere of the temporary leasing office through hospitality, presentation, music, events, and other experiences that encourage students to visit, stay, and return.
- Partner with the New Development and Marketing teams on events, campus activations, collaborations, outreach efforts, and other initiatives that drive traffic and build awareness for the property.
- Promote the New Here Coffee and property brands by identifying opportunities to engage students, increase visibility on campus, and create memorable experiences that generate interest in the community.
- Maintain availability to work at least 20-25 hours per week in on-site shifts of three or more hours.
- Work a flexible schedule that may include mornings, afternoons, evenings, weekends, and additional hours based on business needs.
- Remain on your feet for most of the shift and lift up to 50 pounds, with or without reasonable accommodation.
- Occasional travel may be required.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
- Coffee shops, cafés, hospitality, retail, food service, or other customer-facing environments.
- Student housing, leasing, lead generation, brand ambassador programs, event marketing, or campus engagement initiatives.
- Strong customer service and hospitality skills with the ability to create welcoming, memorable guest experiences.
- Brewing techniques, espresso equipment, specialty beverages, social media content creation, or identifying trends that resonate with college students.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to build authentic relationships and confidently engage students in conversation.
- The ability to balance multiple responsibilities in a fast-paced environment, including coffee service, student engagement, and events.
- Strong organization and attention to detail with a commitment to maintaining quality, cleanliness, presentation, and operational standards.
- Reliability, professionalism, and the ability to work independently while collaborating effectively with cross-functional teams.
- Availability to work flexible hours, including weekday mornings, afternoons, and occasional evenings and weekends.
- Strong customer service and hospitality skills with the ability to create welcoming, memorable guest experiences.
- Coffee shops, cafés, hospitality, retail, food service, or other customer-facing environments.
- Student housing, marketing, lead generation, brand ambassador programs, event marketing, or campus engagement initiatives.
- Brewing techniques, espresso equipment, specialty beverages, social media content creation, or identifying trends that resonate with college students.
- Active involvement in campus organizations, student leadership, community engagement, or other experiences that have helped you build a strong network and understanding of student culture.
