Position Summary:


The Operations Manager will partner with the President and Chief of Staff. The ideal candidate will possess a strong track record of effective communication and managing competing priorities. This role has significant growth opportunities. 


Responsibilities include (but are not limited to):

  • Prepare reports by collecting and analyzing information.
  • Oversee day-to-day operations for multiple facets of the company, ensuring that all departments have the support they need to reach their objectives.
  • Implements current policies and procedures.
  • Identifies opportunities for improvement.
  • Communicates and explains new directives, policies, or procedures to managers; for major changes, meets with staff to explain changes, answer questions, and maintain morale.
  • Manages coordination and integration of efforts among operations and other departments to produce smoother workflow and more cost-effective business processes.
  • Projects a positive image of the organization to employees, customers, industry, and community.
  • Ensures work environments are adequate, safe, and positive.
  • Procurement, inventory, and traceability.
  • Sourcing and onboarding vendors.
  • Vendor communication to ensure raw material product specs are met and request credit/refund when nonconformance occurs.
  • Maintains and reviews documentation related to quality and safety certifications.
  • Manages a wide variety of special projects and initiatives.
  • Plays a key role in quality control and customer experience initiatives.
  • Oversee security system for 3 buildings.
  • Manage the facility professional cleaning team.
  • Other current duties:
  • Food Safety Program knowledge and involvement in many committees surrounding this topic.
  • OHSA compliance knowledge. 
  • Packaging solution and regulation knowledge.
  • Sustainability knowledge and efforts.
  • Participate in the product launch team.
  • Construction and facilities improvement

Education, Experience, and Skills:

  • A bachelor’s degree in business administration or a related field or equivalent experience is required.
  • At least 5 years of experience in Operations Management. 
  • 3+ years experience in people management. 
  • Excellent verbal, written, listening, communication, and interpersonal skills.
  • ISO 9001:2015 Requirements Course Completion or willing to obtain.
  • NEHA HACCP Manager or willing to obtain.
  • Strong computer skills with fluency in Google Apps, MS Office, and QuickBooks.
  • Excellent customer service and prioritization skills with the ability to effectively balance workload under multiple demands and conflicting priorities
  • Highly organized person who pays close attention to details and proactively follows up
  • Able to create work schedules, set goals, create/implement action plans, and monitor progress toward goals
  • Understanding of business finance.
  • Expertise in project management.
  • Managerial and diplomacy skills.
  • Excellent collaborative, analytical, decision-making, and problem-solving skills.
  • Experience managing vendors, contractors, and other third parties.
  • Supply chain management and procurement experience preferred.
  • Depending on experience, this role might involve managing other teams and accountability areas within Toddy.

Compensation:

  • Base salary range: $73,400-$80,000
  • Paid Time Off, and Holiday pay 

Eligible after 60 days:
