Job Description
We are seeking friendly, reliable Café Staff to join our team. Our café is part of an initiative to create inclusive employment opportunities and provide supportive, hands-on job training for individuals entering the workforce, including those with developmental disabilities. The ideal candidate is customer focused, works well in a fast paced environment, and takes pride in providing high quality food, beverages, and service. Café Staff are responsible for creating a welcoming experience for every guest while maintaining cleanliness, efficiency, and safety standards.
Key Responsibilities
Part-time 10 – 25 hours per week
Business Hours
Monday – Friday
8:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m.
Minimum Qualifications
High school diploma or equivalent and 6 months of work experience from which comparable knowledge and skills can be acquired is necessary.

Salary Range: $18.00 - $22.00 hourly
Grade: GGS - 006

Key Responsibilities
- Greet customers and take food and beverage orders accurately
- Prepare and serve coffee, espresso drinks, tea, and other beverages
- Prepare simple food items following café recipes and standards
- Operate the point of sale system and handle transactions accurately
- Maintain cleanliness of the café, including counters, equipment, dining area, and restrooms
- Restock supplies and assist with opening and closing duties
- Follow health, safety, and food handling regulations
- Address customer questions, requests, or concerns professionally
- Work collaboratively with team members to ensure smooth operations
